Season's greetings, everyone! Curl up by your yule logs or whatever and listen to us talk about Christmas cartoons. We'll look at Adventure Time, and what Christmas is like a couple thousand years in the future. And we'll watch Justice League, and see how superheroes celebrate the holiday. Plus, Micah FINALLY tells us what's going on with the latest JoJo (prison, apparently), and Matsy tells us how this whole COVID thing is going to shake out according to South Park. Oh, and Matsy also opens a present, so you gotta come in and listen to that disaster.

Hey, let's look at some cartoons about winter and/or Christmas! We have one called Alma which isn't creepy at all. Here's one about a skunk and a dog engaging in chemical and biological warfare over ownership of the world's only warm house. One about orphans double-crossed by Santa and rescued by some other weird old man. And Tom and Jerry debating squatting rights in and around cheese. Oh, but let's not forget that season 2 of Centaurworld happened. And Micah's going to tell us about the latest bizarre adventure of a JoJo, right? Tra la la la la!

Episode 38 - One Crazy Hour

For Chanukah, we watched Adam Sandler's animated masterpiece (or piece of some kind) Eight Crazy Nights. And we talk about it, but man, it's not worth the effort. But Micah also watched a series of better movies, including Wreck-It Ralph, The Summit of the Gods, and From Up on Poppy Hill. And Matsy investigated just how integral farts and poop are to Bob's Burgers. So, you know... something for everyone! Come listen, and vote for Animation Celery for the 94th All-Star Patch!

Episode 37 - Taffy Taffy Taffy

Come join us once again as we look at cartoons that call back to other episodes we've done! We'll watch the Gummi Bears try to steal the top secret Paunch taffy formula, and try to get Igthorn back on the throne when a little ogre ousts him from Drekmore via everyone's favorite method of ousting people from Drekmore: catapult! Then we'll endure Donkey Kong Country, and see how much worse everything is without Donkey Kong. That can't be right... Meanwhile, Matsy has invented a new game to test whether he should watch F is for Family, and Micah is all excited for new Masters of the Universe: Revelation and new JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! Banana Slamma!

Episode 36 - Inspecting Garfield

Remember that time we watched three random episodes of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers to see if its quality was as dependent on Gadget as Micah thought? Well, we're doing it again, and this time the subject is Garfield and Friends. Three random episodes that'll take us through Binky the Clown's legal troubles, mall-based documentaries, crooked cops for the second week in a row, malfunctioning imaginations, malfunctioning mice, terrible hiring practices, and various instances of Wade the duck being afraid of things. We'll also talk a bit about Micah watching Oliver and Company for the first time, and cartoons Matsy hasn't watched yet. Come on in! Come to the place where fun never ends!

Episode 35 - Defund the Potatoes

It's a random mix this week! We'll watch a young rabbit try to make his fortune by saving frogs inside a seashell. Apparently this is a lucrative career. Then we'll watch Daffy Duck track down the grotesque villains who swiped his piggy bank. I'm not sure if this is a lucrative career. Next, we watch some police potatoes get to the bottom of a carrot kidnapping. This is not a lucrative career (d'oh!) ...unless you're crooked (woohoo!). And finally, we'll watch Roger Rabbit babysit a babe in the woods. I think this career might actually cost more than you'd earn. Matsy will also check in on how Squidbillies is doing without an actual ignorant redneck in its cast, while Micah opens the floor to discussion about plot points and plot holes that make us angry! Rar!

Episode 34 - Nerds Do Podcast

This week, Micah wanted to watch a movie, and Matsy had one he always meant to watch but never got around to. So hey, it's time to find out whether cats dance or not. Is Scott Bakula a decent singer? Is Sawyer an unsung yiffy icon? Are the villains the best part of this movie? Is Dee Bradley Baker this century's Frank Welker? All these questions and more will be at least considered as we look at the 1997 Warner Bros. bomb Cats Don't Dance! Also, Micah tells us about new Simpsons and new DuckTales, and Matsy tells us about new Animal Crossing. (Since the recording of this podcast, he got his sugarcane.)

Episode 33 - Halloween in November

There's too much Halloween for one month to contain! It's spilling over! It's spilling into Soul Eater, in which a short-stacked assassin-school-girl and her very cool and manly scythe partner are out to eat the soul of a pumpkin witch! And it's spilling into Beetlejuice, in which there's a Halloween party and everyone is invited, whether they're living or snooty or cannibals or even invited! Halloween is for everyone! But on a lighter note, Matsy also checked out this Inside Job show that's riding the Rick and Morty wave into people's... I dunno, eyes? And Micah watched Blue Period, to learn all about art and diverse anime body-types, and finished his journey through Star vs. the Forces of Evil. It's showtime! (By the way, we're not sure what was up with Micah's mic this week. Please excuse our dust.)

Episode 32 - A Paraphernalia Wagon to the Nether Regions

It's basically Halloween, so let's ramp up the spoop! For example, we're going to watch an alternate-reality version of the Grinch terrorize whos, as all Grinches tend to do, and see if a little nerd on his way to the euphemism can save the day. And then we'll look at a prime episode of The Real Ghostbusters, in which a door to oblivion needs to be closed before Daedra invade Tamriel and... Oh, wait, I'm being told that's a different door to Oblivion. Well, this is the same basic idea. Just with more subways and cartoony sound effects. We also talk about video games a lot, for some reason. Super Smash Bros., this Warner Bros. thing that may or may not be coming out, WarioWare Twisted, Among Us, Animal Crossing... I don't know what happened to us. But it's good stuff, anyway. I wouldn't miss out on a podcast like this for a dollar and fifty cents!

Episode 31 - This Podcast is Haunted

It really is. We're looking at ghostly cartoons this week, you see. There's The Backwater Gospel, in which a creepy town is caught between their fear of God and their fear of death incarnate. There's Water, Water Every Hare, in which Bugs Bunny has to outwit an evil scientist and an orange, hairy monster to keep his brain. There's G-Man Jitters, in which Gandy Goose needs to get to the bottom of what's REALLY scary in a haunted house full of ghosts and ghouls. And there's Ghost Night, in which Baman and Piderman need to find what's spooking their Pumkin. But don't worry. There's also a less scary bonus review of Cupcake & Dino: General Services, where a cupcake and dinosaur learn about the fun of surprises and the responsibility of pet ownership, and a peek at new Duck Tales and old Superman. Also, boo.
